hey russ i think what you're doing is awesome, i was really considering building one from scratch, but you have a good kit. how hard would it be to put a suzuki gsx-r 600 motor in? its the only motor i can find that sounds VERY formula one ish. also, how light is the car, minus engine, tranny etc?

Hi Russ, I was looking at your site last year and i'm also looking forward to your published kit prices and could do with a list of what comes with the kit and what i would need to finish it. I would prefer to buy all the components which are not with the kit from a scrapyard and clean, paint and overhaul them, rather than buy a full doner and scrap it myself. I would probably be most interested in the bike engined version, as it would sound more like the real deal.

To answer a couple of questions. Sorry, but the offer has now finished, however a complete chassis kit requiring just a MR2 Mk1 donor & a Fiat Cinquecento or Seicento rack & lower column to complete a rolling chassis is still only £3250, that's hardly expensive is it?

With regard to the Suzuki 750, I believe they make around 120 Bhp, so can't see a problem, would cost around an extra £50 to modify/replace the engine cradle. Go for it!!

Hi russ
What would be the approx cost for a chassis that could take a GSXR 750 lump?

Ive been thinking of putting a bike engine in a f1 replica for years but never had the time or finances to achieve it..I know its only a 750 but hey it was given to me so i cant complain. i take my hat off to you sir! well done.

Have you sold the first 5 at a reduced price yet ??. Car looks great but the body price seems quite high at £2500. I am also most worried by the "all my love" comment earlier in this thread.

Mail me to loet me know if I can still buy at a discount. I have a bonus next month and a perfect place to he the chassis from the missus.

Hello,

Looks like the new fibreglass will really finish the car off. I am interested in the use of the mr2 diff on the bike powered ones too. If a mr2 powered one was built, would it be possible to convert it easily to bike power at a later date?
Have you thought of using a tilting rear seat and boltable rear roll bar? If I built one it would be used by me alone for pretty much 90% of the time, but I would still want to give others the experiance once in a while! It would also allow a more realistic rear profile.
Just a thought!
